Dr Eileen Correa DVM

About Me

Dr. Eileen Correa is a 1996 graduate of Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine. She worked as an associate veterinarian for Bay Glen Animal Hospital from September of 2000 to September of 2009. Now she has decided to move on. She will be doing relief work in area clinics so please contact her for an appointment.

As a little girl she always dreamed of being a veterinarian and really loves getting to live that dream every day! She is very excited about getting to know her patients and their owners! She has a special interest in helping improve the relationship between pets and owners. Owners schedule behavioral consultations with her and she teaches them behavior modification techniques, how to set boundaries and how to better communicate with their pets. Dr. Correa also loves to perform cardiac and abdominal ultra sound examinations and has completed additional training in this field which allows her to provide superior care for her patients.

Dr. Correa has two children: eleven year old Julius and four year old Lily. She also has four children that she sponsors in Ethiopia, Uganda and Zambia. When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family. Dr. Correa is also involved in her church and ministry activities. Since visiting her sponsor child in Ethiopia, she has become a child advocate for Compassion International (www.compassion.com). She also serves as a member of the Christian Veterinary Mission Fellowship.

Dr. Correa has two "four legged children": her thirteen year old sheepdog mix, Molly and her one year old calico, Princess Tiger Butter.
